Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting our managers and employees to achieve their goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with Managers: Collaborate with our managers to ensure that staff are treated fairly and consistently, and that people management practices are excellent.
  • Lead People Matters: Resolve people-related issues in a timely manner, supporting all aspects of any process and delivering excellent people management practices.
  • Oversee Data Management: Coordinate data management, reporting on metrics, systems, and employee benefits, while managing and supervising administrative support functions.
Key Duties
  • Develop Staff Retention Strategies: Work with managers to develop strategies that assist with staff retention, including identifying succession planning and developing talent pools.
  • Support Employment Opportunities: Support strategies to promote employment opportunities, identifying areas for support to help managers and teams develop.
  • Generate Reports: Generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for senior management, identifying trends, actions, and outcomes.
  • Assess Systems: Assess systems to ensure they effectively support the HR team, managers, and employees.
  • Compile Exit Interview Data: Compile and analyze exit interview data, pinpointing trends and actions to enhance staff retention efforts.
  • Provide Employment Relations Advice: Provide accurate, valued, and timely employment relations advice regarding people matters.
  • Establish Relationships: Establish and maintain valued and respected relationships across all areas to include staff, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Develop Training Programs: Develop and deliver timely training programs on people practices, including wellbeing and mental health.
Requirements
  • CIPD L5 or equivalent
  • Relevant HR experience
  • Five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Level 2 qualification in Mathematics and English
  • Numeracy & Literacy qualifications to Level 2
  • Excellent IT skills using the MS Office package, particularly Excel and Word.
