Job Description

Johnson Law Group is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join its team based in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the firm's compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) terms and conditions.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance and client-facing quality of service.
  • Monitor and report on compliance arrangements, including regulatory changes and internal policy updates.
  • Oversee and sign off on lead generation and service advertisements to ensure SRA marketing requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in a compliance role, with a focus on client complaints, KYC, and money laundering procedures.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including SRA authorisation and transparency rules.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
