Role Overview:

As a key member of our operations team, you will provide essential project management and engineering support to our QuickFlange division. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee projects and operations, ensuring the safe and profitable execution of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation and execution of the annual operational budget and objectives for QuickFlange.
  • Offer technical and operational assistance in the preparation of quotes, proposals, and tenders.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure all activities related to QuickFlange are conducted according to company standards and that equipment is mobilized efficiently.
  • Supervise QuickFlange Technicians on-site or at client locations.
  • Manage various ad hoc projects while supporting other business lines.
  • Prepare comprehensive workpacks, including implementation procedures, engineering drawings, equipment lists, and materials as necessary, ensuring thorough job briefings are conducted.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering team as required based on project specifications.
  • Engage with onsite technicians to ensure work is progressing according to plan and assist with technical inquiries.
  • Ensure the appropriate competencies of technicians are requested based on job/project requirements.
  • Manage scope variations, presenting them to clients promptly for approval.
  • Monitor and control project costs to maximize profitability.
  • Compile and issue final reports to clients as needed.
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices through the Operations Team.
  • Support Sales personnel in managing client expectations.
  • Maintain and enhance relevant technical procedures and work instructions.
  • Contribute to the growth of ICR by identifying opportunities and actively participating in development and management meetings.
  • Adhere to all company processes and procedures in line with BMS standards.
  • Exhibit a professional and consistent management approach that aligns with the ideals and expectations of company employees and Directors.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, particularly HSEQ requirements.
  • A background in Mechanical or Engineering disciplines is crucial.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven ability to solve problems and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all organizational levels and external contacts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Proficient in various office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation and report writing capabilities.
  • A self-starter who enjoys collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
  • Commitment to high-quality work standards and flexibility to contribute to new ideas and processes.
