Project Coordinator

Balmoral Offshore Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Project Engineer to join our team.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate all activities required for the successful completion of customer orders, including liaising with key stakeholders throughout all stages of the project.
- Review and take ownership of projects handed over from the proposals department, ensuring they are run in accordance with the company's health, safety, and environmental policy.
- Assess bought-in parts required and work with the procurement team to meet project deadlines.
- Schedule projects to safely meet client and in-house deadlines, monitoring and reporting progress.
- Partake in and witness product testing, ensuring third-party witnessing is carried out where applicable.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets to ensure projects meet or exceed their profit targets.
- Prepare valuations and ensure information is passed to accounts to allow invoices to be issued on their due dates.
- Expedite drawings, materials, and other applicable items required to carry out the execution of projects successfully.
- Provide progress reports for clients and senior management, adequately explaining the position of all projects under the job-holder's ownership.
- Identify risks, mitigations, and contingency plans to ensure the effective running of projects.
- HNC/HND Mechanical or Marine Engineering discipline.
- Must be an organized individual who is commercially and contractually aware.
- Must be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
