Position Overview:

Premier Engineering is in search of a detail-oriented and systematic Production Scheduler to become a vital part of our client's manufacturing team. Our client stands out in their field, delivering top-notch components for both commercial and retail markets.

Key Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in production scheduling, SAP coordination, or a comparable position within a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with SAP database management, particularly concerning part numbering and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • A degree in engineering, manufacturing, information systems, or a related technical discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Technical knowledge or experience with materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to guarantee the timely acquisition of materials and components.
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for intricate assemblies, ensuring they align with technical specifications and manufacturing needs.
  • Organize and oversee Kits, working closely with production to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all components.
  • Engage with sales, production, and design teams to maintain data integrity and consistency across all technical documentation and SAP records.
  • Conduct regular audits of the database to identify and rectify any inconsistencies.
  • Provide training and support to team members regarding SAP database management and operational procedures.
