Mental Health Nurse for Learning Disabilities

We are seeking an experienced and progressive Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) / Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You will be working in a 20-bed rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for females with a personality disorder and a specialist skill in working with those who are, or may be autistic.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a very friendly, collaborative, and flexible team, including nursing, medical staff, occupational therapy, and psychology. You will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a busy environment and contribute to the development of the service.
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for producing outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations. You will work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality. You will also attend all training and engage in CPD to further your knowledge and promote nursing.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the latest nursing practices, a commitment to patient recovery, and compassion, resilience, and a dedication to empower and support service user independence. You will also have the ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits, and demonstrate integrity in your role.
