Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism and additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential and reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with Autism and additional needs in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and the implementation of educational programs.
  • Provide emotional and physical support to students, helping them to develop as individuals and engage with the world around them.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, pupil-centred education.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of GCSE Grade C in English and Maths.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and understanding approach, with the ability to work with students who may have challenging behaviors.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality support to students with Autism and additional needs.
