Are you a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting young students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the Bromley area.
Role Overview:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with EYFS and KS1 students who have SEN, including Autism and sensory needs. Your role will involve supporting these students in a group setting, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they need to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide small group support to EYFS and KS1 students with SEN, focusing on Autism and sensory needs.
Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs and interventions designed to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and implement effective learning strategies.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and development.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback and contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Requirements:
Proven experience working with SEN students, particularly those with Autism and sensory needs.
Strong understanding of EYFS and KS1 curricula and teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
