Property Assistant/Paralegal Role

We are seeking a skilled Property Assistant/Paralegal to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. As a key member of our property department, you will provide administrative support to our property fee earners and contribute to the smooth operation of our conveyancing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the property fee earner in the preparation and management of property transactions
  • Assist with associated administration, including the use of case management systems and online services
  • Deal with client queries and take instructions from clients in a professional and timely manner
  • Amend and reformat documents as required
  • Apply for searches using online services, including the Land Registry
  • Use HMRC's website to complete Stamp Duty Land Tax forms
  • Maintain client files, including opening and closing files, and ensure the filing system is up-to-date
  • Assist fee earners in the maintenance of client accounts
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to contribute to the continued success of the property department
