Aerospace and Defence Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in the Digital Infrastructure sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing a pipeline of business growth opportunities and identifying current and future customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish a pipeline of business growth opportunities in the Digital Infrastructure and relevant adjacent market sectors.
- Liaise with the Management Team, Senior Managers, Project Managers etc. to identify current and future customer requirements.
- Liaise with other Galliford Try departments, and potential customers to identify business growth opportunities.
- Attitude to price/quality alternatives, changes needed to their business, risk analysis carried out, and production and maintenance of a marketing strategy for future business planning.
- Complete monthly reports prior to the GT Digital Infrastructure board meeting for discussion.
- Promotion of company to clients and any external influences whenever the opportunity arises.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentation, internally and externally (as required).
- Produce a budget of annual spend on any promotional or research and development costs, as agreed with the MD.
- Previous experience on large-scale telecoms/defence/infrastructure projects/programmes.
- Commercial and financial awareness.
