Job Title: Secretariat Coordinator

Join the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) as a Secretariat Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting the Disability Charities Consortium (DCC) in its joint work.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the DCC on policy tasks, input to the UK Covid Inquiry, organizing and attending meetings, and supporting the DCC's smooth running.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support policy leads in developing DCC letters and briefings
  • Link with communications leads and support regular meetings of the CEO group
  • Connect regularly with the UK Government's Disability Unit Stakeholder team
  • Support the DCC's participation in the official UK Covid Inquiry
Requirements

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent writing skills and experience of analyzing policy material, drafting briefings and letters. You should be able to collate input from numerous colleagues to draft high-quality outputs.

You will be comfortable creating agendas, managing practical arrangements for meetings, and taking on some routine administrative tasks. You should also have the professional skills to support high-level meetings with government.
