About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to work in a supportive mainstream secondary school, helping students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with SEND students, offering tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Assist classroom teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia.
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring students can engage fully with the curriculum.
What We Are Looking For
  • A patient and empathetic individual with a genuine interest in supporting SEND students.
  • Experience in a similar role or working with children with special educational needs is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive approach and flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of the students.
