Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team at a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility in Uttoxeter. As part of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient performance of production equipment and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance of production machinery, utilizing electrical skills and knowledge to minimize downtime.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and all associated system activity.
  • Provide maintenance support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely records are entered into the maintenance system relating to all work carried out, root causes, and spare parts used.
  • Make food safety a priority while maintaining the machinery.
Requirements:
  • An electrical Engineering qualification and a time-served Apprenticeship with an electrical bias.
  • Experience of working with manufacturing machinery.
  • Background preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Ability to work as part of a larger engineering team.
What We Offer:
  • 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern.
  • Basic salary of £47,000 with overtime available.
