Job Title: Software Engineer III

Overview

Werfen, a global leader in diagnostic instruments and solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements review, design reviews, code reviews, test case reviews, and team meetings.
  • Develop and maintain software requirements and functional specifications.
  • Identify and document interfaces between software components and/or hardware.
  • Design and develop software components that adhere to design documentation.
  • Perform unit testing and code reviews as per project policy.
  • Integrate software components to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Evaluate and implement fixes to assigned software defects.
  • Evaluate and implement assigned software change proposals.

Key Relationships

As a Software Engineer III, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in a technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 4-10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on C++, Linux, and Qt.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to use software engineering tools, including configuration, requirements, and defect management.
