Position Overview
In response to our growing business, we are seeking an M&E Site Supervisor to collaborate closely with our manufacturing teams to ensure the successful execution of our diverse range of standard and custom manufactured package plants.
We welcome applications from candidates with mechanical or electrical expertise, or those proficient in both disciplines. Training opportunities will be available for candidates looking to develop skills in their less experienced area. A willingness to assist with both mechanical and electrical installations is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation of package plant systems, including chemical dosing packages, pump skids, access steelwork, and more.
- Ensure that the installation team adheres to site instructions and complies with Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Take responsibility for the safe and cost-effective delivery of mechanical and electrical installations.
- Actively work to minimize environmental impact and protect the surroundings.
- Manage site staff and subcontractors effectively.
- Support decision-making on-site, ensuring risks are managed and uncertainties are minimized.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Supervisor.
- Hold SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Possess a relevant vocational qualification or equivalent.
- CSCS and CCNSG certifications (or similar).
- Experience in the water or construction industry.
- Familiarity with industrial and/or panel wiring is desirable.
- Strong client engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in managing Mechanical or Electrical projects on-site.
- Ability to follow and provide instructions effectively.
- Valid UK driving license.
Desirable:
- Thames Water Passport.
- EUSR water hygiene card.
