Project Engineering Manager

About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to oversee the execution of engineering projects from conception to completion. You'll ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in the medical device manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of Project Engineers and Validation Engineers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, functional heads, and project team members, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project engineering function, leveraging best practices, lessons learned, and feedback from past projects.
- Plan the site's Capital Expenditure requirements, working closely with the PMO department to ensure correct resources are in place to deliver on time and to budget.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Related Engineering roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on medical devices or similar regulated industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to project planning and execution.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to medical device development and manufacturing, such as FDA regulations and ISO standards.
