Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and young people with disabilities, developing and implementing care plans, and working with families to provide support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for children and young people with disabilities
- Work with families to provide support and guidance
- Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people
- Provide advocacy and support to children and young people with disabilities
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with a passion for working with children and young people with disabilities
- Sound knowledge of relevant childcare legislation, including 'Working Together to Safeguard Children' and fostering regulations and legislation
- Ability to build effective relationships with children, young people, and families
- Valid driving license and own transport, or ability to provide alternative suitable method of travel
