We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our client's team in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to children in Key Stage 1, creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports early learning and development.

About the Role:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will also be responsible for monitoring and assessing children's progress, providing feedback to both students and parents, and making necessary adjustments to teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Participate in school-wide activities and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early years assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about early years education.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
