Role Overview: The Senior Clinical Education Specialist will deliver expert obstetric ultrasound knowledge to enhance the quality of care for women and infants within our network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the integration of Fetal Medicine services across the region, ensuring timely access to appropriate care for women throughout their maternity journey.
- Provide clinical expertise to develop this emerging network area and support the overall initiatives of the network.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across various organizations within the network.
Collaboration: The postholder will work closely with the Lead Midwife/Manager and clinical leads, engaging with individual provider and commissioning organizations throughout the region.
Patient Advocacy: Acting as a champion for patients within sonography, the postholder will ensure that patient perspectives are central to clinical network activities and care pathways.
Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proficiency in fostering collaborative working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills to manage complex programs across diverse organizations.
- The ability to engage and facilitate discussions among various stakeholders to align different viewpoints.
Transformational Leadership: Given the role's focus on enhancing specialist maternity services, the postholder will have the relevant experience and skills to design, implement, and support initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and patient pathways.
