Job Title: Junior Embedded Software Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Junior Embedded Software Developer to join our team at Octagon Group. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Linux device drivers and programming in C
  • Assist with multi-threaded applications and developing server applications using Rust and/or Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions
  • Contribute to the development of software architecture and design patterns

Requirements:

  • Experience in programming using Embedded C, ideally on a Linux platform
  • Exposure to microcontrollers / microprocessors
  • Experience with Rust and/or Python for multi-threaded server programming would be beneficial
  • Exposure to kernel driver development would be highly beneficial
