Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Tutor to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As an Embedded Tutor, you will work closely with faculty to assess and enhance undergraduate writing skills, providing personalized support to students in School of Business courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement writing workshops and programs
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, offering feedback and guidance on their written work
  • Attend regular tutor training sessions and professional development opportunities
  • Work effectively with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business, English, Rhetoric and Composition, or Professional Writing
  • Coursework in business writing, rhetoric/composition, or equivalent
  • Professional proficiency in digital education technology
  • High-level reasoning skills
