Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our site team, you will work closely with the Site Manager to deliver successful projects safely, on time, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks and ensure that tasks are carried out safely, on time, and to the required standard.
  • Ensure compliance with company Business Management System and promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist the Site Manager in chairing and leading regular Subcontractor Coordination meetings to monitor progress and ensure HSE and quality compliance.
  • Take ownership of material requisition and storage, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing wastage.
  • Develop and maintain customer, client, and supply chain relationships to drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Be commercially aware of the implications of decisions taken on site and identify potential savings throughout the build.

Requirements

  • Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
  • NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
  • Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate
  • Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Asta
  • Experience in a management or supervisory position
  • Knowledge of NHBC Standards and HBF ratings
