Position Summary: We are in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Work Schedule: The position operates on a rotating shift pattern, which includes:
- Week 1: 6am - 2pm
- Week 2: 2pm - 10pm
- Week 3: 10pm - 6am
Compensation: The annual salary for this role is £46,000, complemented by an annual bonus potential of up to £3,000, along with 27 days of paid leave and exclusive discounts on various products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both reactive and scheduled maintenance to uphold operational efficiency.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment downtime.
- Collaborate effectively with production teams and other departments to address maintenance priorities.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using the company’s management system.
- Propose enhancements to maintenance processes to improve efficiency and safety standards.
- Assist in the setup and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices to enhance production workflows.
Qualifications:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in engineering or an equivalent credential.
- Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Technician within the manufacturing industry.
