Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary school in Leicester. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing individualized care and attention to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, including ASC, ADHD, and SEMH, in a classroom setting.
  • Develop and implement behavior management techniques to effectively nurture young students.
  • Ensure that all pupils are motivated to learn and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting their social, emotional, and mental well-being.
Requirements:
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Valid work permit for the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to complete one.
  • Flexibility, energy, and enthusiasm for working with young people from diverse backgrounds.
