Position Overview:

Index Exchange is in search of a Senior Buyer Development Manager with exceptional ad technology, leadership, and consulting abilities to join our EMEA team. This role is based in London. The Buyer Development team is responsible for providing agencies, trading desks, and advertisers with vital insights into market trends, ensuring that buyers have access to our publishers' inventory through their preferred methods. In this capacity, you will engage with buy-side partners in the UK market, maintaining and enhancing existing relationships while supporting business development to expand new accounts and partnerships, and promote the Index Exchange brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for UK-based agencies, brands, and their associated programmatic trading desks.
  • Manage relationships with buyers, offering product suitability, partnership expansion opportunities, and ensuring effective communication across organizational lines. Act as an educational resource for agency and marketer clients, from traders to senior stakeholders, through thought leadership on the programmatic ecosystem and supply landscape.
  • Identify new partnerships, uncover new demand sources, and align the needs of UK-based buyers with the Index buyer product suite.
  • Oversee financial reporting requirements and conduct quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders, both internal and external, while being comfortable reporting against revenue goals.
  • Participate in relevant industry events and engage partners in innovative ways that foster collaboration and strategic account growth.
  • Collaborate with Index's Account Management & Operations teams to manage deal activity and raise awareness of opportunities presented by our premium publishers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, with a comprehensive understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape (e.g., ad server, ad network, exchange, SSP, DSP, agency trading desk, PMP, etc.).
  • Thorough knowledge of the UK buy-side markets, along with a robust network of buy-side contacts.
  • Previous experience in buyer-facing sales roles at an exchange or DSP is highly valued.
