Position Overview:

Tempest Resourcing Limited is collaborating with a primary educational institution to find a dedicated Special Needs Support Assistant. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs, focusing on those with autism and learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with class teachers to adapt lesson plans and engage students effectively.
- Offer constructive feedback to educators and the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) regarding student progress.
- Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in responding to the dynamic needs of students throughout the school day.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working with young children, particularly those with complex needs.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, specifically supporting children with learning disabilities.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with staff and parents.

Working Conditions:
- This position operates Monday to Friday during term time, with hours from 8:30 AM.
- The school offers convenient transportation options and onsite parking.
