Role Overview

As a Finance Project Specialist, you will be part of a project team tasked with integrating the Oracle Fusion ERP system into Next Finance. Your role will focus on designing, configuring, and constructing finance reports that bolster profit and loss statements across business divisions, leveraging the EPM capabilities of the Oracle Fusion software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in familiarization workshops to gain a deep understanding of the project scope and requirements.
  • Make and document design decisions in line with the project scope, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Complete design workbooks to ensure that all aspects of the project are thoroughly documented.
  • Assist with business impact assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Redesign current 'streaming' processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with the reporting team to ensure seamless integration of finance reports.
  • Collaborate with the core GL lead to align with the newly designed enterprise structure.
  • Contribute to the training plan to ensure that all stakeholders are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Plan and execute tests to validate the accuracy and completeness of finance reports.
  • Engage with change management and business adoption to provide user training materials and support.
  • Plan and execute cutover to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
  • Provide warranty support to ensure that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing change with a focus on controls and automation.
  • A robust understanding of reporting and the strategic use of data in an EPM environment is essential.
  • Experience with Oracle, especially Fusion, is highly desirable.
  • Self-management capabilities, a methodical approach, and strong organizational skills are necessary to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Google Presentations is required.
  • Previous experience with analytical toolkits, Power BI, and cloud-based data analytics is advantageous.
