Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in the Department of Histopathology. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the laboratory team in the receipt, processing, and analysis of pathological specimens.

Main Responsibilities
  • Receipt and processing of pathological specimens
  • Assisting with the pathological dissection of tissue
  • Input of data, block and slide filing
  • Daily maintenance of equipment and machinery used
  • Rotating throughout the laboratory, including both Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Requirements
