We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Achievement Support Assistant to join our team at a supportive school in Hull. As an Achievement Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities- Support students in their academic progress, working closely with teachers and other staff.
- Assist students with their learning, providing guidance and motivation.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of students to help them achieve their goals.
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
- Help with classroom management and behaviour support when needed.
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- A patient and positive attitude towards supporting children's learning.
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to different student needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
