We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Mental Health School in Oxford. As a Psychology Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work alongside therapists and psychologists, providing support to children with complex mental health needs.
About the Role:
- Provide individualized support to SEN children aged 5-11 with complex mental health needs
- Work collaboratively with therapists and psychologists to develop and implement personalized support plans
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting to the needs of individual students
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social, emotional, and mental well-being
Requirements:
- Psychology Graduate with a strong understanding of child development and mental health
- Experience working with SEN children and/or adults, preferably in a school setting
- Level 3 qualifications+ and a Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Criminology)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
