Aircraft Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Engineer to join our team at European. As a key member of our A340 Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and certification on our A340 fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and certification of A340 aircraft to the highest standard
  • Line maintenance, daily, weekly, and monthly checks of stored aircraft
  • Liaison with Maintenance Operations Centre in the event of defects affecting aircraft dispatch
  • Flying spanner duties as required
Requirements:
  • Valid UK CAA Category B1 Part-66 Licence
  • A340/A330 Type rating preferred but not essential as type training will be provided
  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to pass company background checks, including criminal record checks
