About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team at Eden Futures. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our local team to ensure the delivery of exceptional support services to individuals with learning or physical disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism, or mental illness.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality support services that meet the needs and aspirations of our service users.
- Develop and implement effective risk assessments and safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of our service users.
- Work closely with the training team to ensure all staff receive the necessary training and development opportunities.
- Recruit and select new staff, taking an active part in the interview process and ensuring that all new team members are appropriately recruited into the Company.
- Ensure effective communication is established and maintained throughout the service and with external agencies, service users, and their circle of support.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including Adult Social Care & Health, CCGs, and other external agencies.
Requirements
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to support and develop a team.
- Be qualified to a minimum standard of Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
- Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Supported Living or Residential service.
- Experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions is preferable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding role.
