Job OverviewAs the Technical Artist, you will work alongside a skilled team for one of our unannounced games. This position requires a strong technical background and collaboration across various departments, to ensure optimal game performance and excellent visuals.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement the 'Unity layer' linking art and animation with the programmers' codebase
- Construct new game features within Unity, including Unity UI, following internal technical workflow
- Write custom C# components for complex visual elements
- Optimise new and existing features
- Create animations, particle effects, and custom shaders
- Expertise in the Unity engine, especially Unity UI
- Ability to write clean, performant C# code
- Experience working with Git and knowledge of its best practices
- Ability to create animations, particle effects and custom shaders
- Experience optimising games for smooth performance on various devices
- 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays
- Hybrid Working: we work in the office 3 days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and a third day of your choice.
