Position Overview: Durham High School is in search of a Director of Marketing and Admissions to craft and implement a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy aimed at enhancing student recruitment, bolstering the institution's reputation, and ensuring an exceptional admissions experience for prospective families.
About Us: Located near a historic city, Durham High School stands as a premier independent institution in the North East, catering to students aged 3 to 18. With a distinguished rating of 'Excellent' from the Independent Schools Inspectorate, we have a rich history of prioritizing girls' education.
As we celebrate our 140th anniversary, we continue to uphold our legacy as a modern educational establishment for girls, fostering academic excellence and a passion for lifelong learning, empowering every student to reach her full potential.
Role Responsibilities: The Director of Marketing and Admissions will oversee a diverse range of marketing initiatives, including advertising, event management, website content, social media engagement, newsletters, and printed materials. This role also involves managing both internal and external communications.
In addition to leading the admissions process with the support of a dedicated admissions team, the successful candidate will be expected to understand the needs of current and prospective families, devising strategies and initiatives that align with these requirements.
Candidate Profile: Ideal applicants will possess a minimum of five years of experience in a marketing capacity within an educational or comparable setting, along with some leadership experience in managing a small team.
This position is demanding and fast-paced, presenting an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a pivotal role within an organization, contributing to its future success while being proactive in executing tasks.
