About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Deputy Manager to join our support team at Westover, a 5-bedded family home in Southampton. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and caring for our young people, while also overseeing the effective implementation of care and independence programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and care for our young people, including those with emotional behavioral difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties
  • Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programs, including managing shift patterns on a rota basis
  • Line manage a small staff team, promoting positive working relationships and effective communication
  • Communicate with our young people to understand their needs and provide individualized support
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential for this role
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young people, including those with complex needs
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience, communication, organization, caring, and attentiveness
  • Full UK driving license
