Job Title: Support Worker - Adults Services

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our Adults Services team in Lancaster and Morecambe. As a Support Worker, you will be working with individuals who require support with daily living tasks, personal care, and accessing community activities.

About the Role:
  • Provide support and care to individuals with disabilities and complex needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support individuals to access community activities, such as shopping, leisure activities, and social events
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare staff and social workers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and carers
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with individuals with disabilities and complex needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
  • Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities
