About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our team at Cathedral Appointments Ltd. As a key member of our Dispute Resolution team, you will be responsible for managing a varied litigation caseload and developing a Commercial Litigation practice that aligns with the maturation of other teams within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, probate, property, and professional negligence claims
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other teams across the firm
  • Collaborate with the Corporate & Commercial and Insolvency teams to provide seamless and exemplary client service
  • Supervise and support the development of an Associate who will be specialising in Inheritance Disputes work
  • Contribute to the development of the team and the firm's overall strategy

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer who is seeking to take the next step in their career. You will have several years' UK-based post-qualified experience and the ability to independently manage a varied litigation caseload. You will be a strong communicator with a positive approach to developing individuals in their technical skills and confidence. You will also have experience of managing team members, allocating work, and providing quality supervision.
