Job Title: Private Client Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our team at Number Fifteen Recruitment. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on wills, estates, and tax planning to our clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking and expanding firm, where you will have the chance to gain skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will be involved in a range of activities, including:

  • Preparing wills and administering estates for business and private clients
  • Providing specialist advice on lifetime and post-death tax planning
  • Assisting with the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Participating in the firm's marketing, article drafting, PR, business development, social media, and networking activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Circa 3 years PQE
  • Strong understanding of the preparation of wills, including those incorporating measures aimed at asset protection and mitigation of tax
  • Fundamental principles of inheritance, capital gains, and income tax and their application in an estate planning context
  • Knowledge of trusts, estate administration, and taxation
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and a strong team player with excellent balance between technical ability and commercial awareness
