About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in our shop in Cambridge. As a key member of our Retail Division, you will assist the Shop Manager in all aspects of the retail business, including driving sales, managing stock and donations, and developing and growing the business within the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shop Manager in maximising sales and running the shop in their absence.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of stock, donations, and sales.
  • Supervise a team of volunteers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of the retail environment and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
