About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our Catering team at Marie Curie's Cardiff and the Vale Hospice.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients, visitors, and staff. You will work closely with our catering team to ensure that our food service meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Manage and maintain a high level of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Supervise and train catering staff to ensure they meet the required standards
  • Manage food budgets and ordering
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • City and Guilds or equivalent qualifications in culinary arts
