Key Responsibilities
The Welsh Ambulance NHS Trust is at the forefront of enhancing urgent and emergency care services for the community, both online and via telephone.
Our team comprises a diverse range of professionals, including Call Handlers, Nurses, Paramedics, and data analysts, collaborating within a multidisciplinary framework alongside General Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Mental Health Practitioners.
This dynamic role will require you to leverage your clinical assessment abilities to assist and advise a wide array of patients, addressing everything from minor health issues to complex urgent conditions, while refining your skills in a remote clinical decision-making environment.
As a Triage and Assessment Clinical Practitioner, you will have the autonomy to make informed decisions, supported by our experienced team of senior clinicians, practice coaches, and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- NMC Registered Nurse (adult or child) with relevant clinical experience in frontline, acute, or chronic care, or HCPC Registered Paramedic with demonstrable post-registration experience in frontline services.
- Evidence of ongoing training and continuous personal/professional development as required by the regulatory body.
