About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Addiction Psychiatrist to join our team at Spinner Medical Recruitment. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for leading and developing our addictions service in one of Australia's finest hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to our medical team.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with addiction disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • FRANZCP or equivalent specialist training gained in either NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, South Africa.
  • Completed a 6 month training post in child and adolescent psychiatry (if trained outside of Australia).
  • Experience in addictions psychiatry.
  • First class communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead and help your MDTs.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and supervising medical staff.

What We Offer:

  • Remuneration of up to $477k plus on-call allowances.
