CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator Job Description

At Recra Consulting, we are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating first/second operation machines to accurate specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Program and set multi-axis CNC machining centers with FANUC control systems to produce high-quality components.
  • Accurately read and estimate cycle time from customer drawings to meet quality requirements and delivery deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production processes and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supervise and manage junior team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in CNC machining and CAD/CAM systems.
Requirements:
  • Previous hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC machining centers with FANUC control systems.
  • Knowledge of Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM systems.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage junior team members.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory/managerial role would be beneficial.
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm
