Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Lead to join our team at Amica Care Trust. As a Care Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and support services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of Care Assistants to ensure the delivery of person-centered care and support.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of our care services.
  • Provide guidance and support to Care Assistants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • Have previous experience working in a leadership or supervisory role in a care setting.
  • Have specific knowledge and experience in caring for the elderly.
  • Be able to administer medications and have a good understanding of care planning.
  • Be a role model and promote a positive attitude, effective communication, and team working.
