Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Catering Supervisor to join our team in Fife. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile catering services, providing high-quality food and excellent customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a clean and safe environment.
  • Manage and maintain the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that they are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Supervise and train staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to a high standard.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that all food is used efficiently.
  • Develop and implement new menus and recipes, ensuring that they are appealing to our residents and meet their dietary needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or catering environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and residents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures, with the ability to maintain high standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ability to travel throughout Fife, with a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
