About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and utilities at our site, controlling manpower, overheads, and materials for projects and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal site performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- Manage and supervise a team of contract staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate call-out services and ensure timely response to maintenance requests.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in maintenance and facilities management.
- Strong project management and budgeting skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Competency in MS applications.
