Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Skills Tutor to join our team. As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to learners, helping them to develop their maths and English skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to small groups of learners.
  • Utilise existing delivery resources and prepare own materials as required.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners to help them achieve their goals.
  • Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
  • Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Maths and/or English level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Must have experience of delivering Functional Skills and/or GCSE Maths and English.
  • Must have experience of delivering training to small groups of learners.
