Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pro-rata, based on experience

Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role Overview

We are in search of a Clinical Team Leader to oversee our dedicated Clinical Team at Options Barton School located in North Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership team and the Locality Clinical Lead. This position entails both leading the clinical team and managing a therapy caseload. The Clinical Team Leader will be responsible for supervising the onsite clinical team members.

In this role, you will develop tailored assessment and intervention strategies for students with diverse needs, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will also take charge of the therapy caseload while benefiting from the support of our experienced clinical network and expanding Clinical Team. Additionally, you will play a key role in staff training and consultation. This position is both challenging and rewarding, ideal for a resilient and enthusiastic professional with a therapeutic mindset, decision-making capabilities, and the ability to manage their workload while supervising others.

As part of the service's operational framework, you will facilitate the integration of specific services into the daily operations of each provision, including standardized assessments and clinical services. A significant aspect of this role involves implementing the wellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at various levels to assist our broader teams in addressing our pupils' needs in accordance with the Education, Health Plan (EHCP).

Essential Qualifications:

  • Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy, or registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
  • Valid and current professional registration and membership in a professional body (e.g., HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT).
  • Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs.
  • Proficient in clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities.
  • Experience in providing supervision and support to a therapy team.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in multi-professional collaboration within the designated specialty is preferred.
  • Full UK valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
