Role: Nurse - Adult Intensive Care Unit

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking skilled band 5 nurses to become part of our esteemed Adult Intensive Care Unit. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a variety of critical care environments, addressing the needs of patients recovering from major surgeries, as well as those requiring specialized interventions.

In alignment with current health guidelines, we advocate for all healthcare professionals in direct patient care roles to consider vaccination against COVID-19, unless medically exempt, to maintain a safe healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver ongoing care for patients in critical condition within a demanding atmosphere.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff and trainees as necessary, while emphasizing personal and professional growth.
  • Exhibit safe and effective nursing methodologies to ensure high standards of care in accordance with established protocols and available resources.

Qualifications and Requirements
