Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced After Sales Advisor to join our team at Platinum Recruitment Consultancy. As an After Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients by efficiently managing vehicle bookings, repairs, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Coordinate Vehicle Appointments: Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of vehicle appointments and repairs, minimizing delays and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Provide Accurate Cost Estimates: Clearly communicate cost estimates for repairs to customers, ensuring transparency and trust in our services.
  • Communicate Effectively with Customers: Maintain open and effective communication with customers throughout the repair process, addressing their concerns and queries promptly.
  • Handle Customer Inquiries and Complaints: Respond professionally and promptly to customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Generate Service Documentation: Accurately create and maintain service documentation, job cards, and follow-up systems, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Update Customer and Vehicle History Records: Accurately update customer and vehicle history records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Document Warranty Work: Document warranty work according to company standards, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Ensure Quality and Accuracy: Ensure all work is completed as specified and charged correctly, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Liaise with Technicians: Collaborate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs, maximizing productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Arrange for Parts and Equipment: Arrange for parts and equipment as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.

Person Specification:

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Abilities: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Good Organisational and Time Management Skills: Possess good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail, with the ability to accurately update records and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Computer Systems: Possess proficiency in relevant computer systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Previous Experience in the Automotive Industry: Previous experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of vehicle repair and maintenance processes.
  • Full UK Driving Licence: Must hold a full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel to various locations as required.
